About the ANAO Client Seminars
The ANAO offers annual seminars to assist our clients in Australian Government agencies and authorities to prepare their annual financial statements. The seminars provide information on the key changes in Australian Accounting Standards and Finance Minister’s Orders.
Please note the format and registration process has changed from previous years.
In 2013, the seminars will be presented in a live on-line format. This means you can view the seminar from your own office. No specialised software is required, just audio capability on your computer.
A copy of the slides will be emailed to registered attendees in the week before each presentation is delivered. You will be able to submit questions on-line during the seminars. Registered attendees will be able to view each presentation for a month after it is delivered on-line via a recording link emailed within 24 hours following the live event.
2013 Seminar Schedule
There will be two seminars in 2013. The first, in March, will focus on changes in reporting requirements for 2012-13. The second, in May, will focus on known and expected changes for later years. Holding two seminars avoids an excessively long on-line presentation. It also responds to feedback from clients, some of whom wanted a greater focus on the current year, and others a focus on future years.
The following seminar dates are available for 2013. All seminars are 9.30am to 12.00 noon Canberra time. The last hour of the presentation will be devoted to answering questions asked during the presentation.
