If your graduate application is successful, we will be in constant contact with you. Initially you will receive a formal offer of employment as an ongoing employee in the Australian Public Service. Thereafter you will continue to receive advice about and assistance with, your employment.
For interstate Graduates coming to Canberra , the ANAO will arrange and pay for your travel and removal of furniture and effects (if appropriate). We will pay for you (and your dependants, as appropriate) in a serviced apartment for the first three weeks and also contribute a meal allowance while you find more suitable longer term accommodation.
On the Friday before you commence, a lunch is arranged so that you can meet your supervisor, other Graduates and key personnel in the Office. All this is intended to ensure that your move to Canberra is hassle free and as relaxed as possible.
