“Our IT Audits provide an integrated support service to the Performance and Financial Audit groups within the ANAO. My colleagues in the IT group come from an interesting variety of IT, auditing, and graduate backgrounds.
“The use and adoption of emerging technologies typically makes a big impact in any environment. The fascinating role we play is to identify and assess the risks that these technologies present when adopted by our Public Sector clients.
“While our focus is conducting technical audits over networks, operating platforms and database management systems, we also provide professional, technical consultancy on the risks and controls of the technologies. This balance, the variety of our client base and the computer-aided audit support systems, all make for an interesting job to apply my technical abilities.”
