About us

The Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) is a specialist public sector practice providing a range of audit and assurance services to the Parliament and Commonwealth entities.

About Us

The objective of this audit is to assess the effectiveness of the Commonwealth Home Support Programme.

Audit criteria

The ANAO proposes to examine:

  • Does the Commonwealth Home Support Programme meet community need?
  • Are Commonwealth Home Support Programme services delivered effectively?
  • Is the Commonwealth Home Support Programme meeting its objectives?

Survey

As part of this audit, the ANAO is undertaking a survey of Commonwealth Home Support Programme participants and has engaged the Social Research Centre (SRC) to conduct this research on its behalf. The purpose of this important survey is to provide an understanding of how well the program is meeting the needs of its participants.

Participants will be invited to participate via an email from the SRC.

The survey runs between 17 November 2025 and 7 December 2025.
