The objective of this audit is to assess whether the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has effective arrangements to sustain its business-critical ICT systems.
Audit criteria
The ANAO proposes to examine:
- Are risks to the sustainment of business-critical ICT systems appropriately identified and assessed?
- Are risks to the sustainment of selected business-critical ICT systems effectively managed?
- Are there appropriate monitoring and assurance mechanisms to assess whether the risk management arrangements remain effective?
